Pascal Lecocq, Ph.D, is the painter of the diving world renownest picture: "The Matador".
Pascal LECOCQ, Ph.D , THE PAINTER OF BLUE ®, has been exhibiting his work worldwide for the last thirty years with 170 solo exhibitions and his paintings can be found in galleries and private collections around the world.
Although his work includes surreal landscapes and opera decors, he has become famous for his images of divers in surreal situations enveloped in remarkable blue vistas, but he is still renowed for his horse paintings.
His Equine art has been exhibited in France and published in several books: Cent ans de Polo en France(1992), le Cheval dans la Peinture Fantastique (2000) et Femmes de Cheval (2004). He’s exhibiting in the USA at the Horse World Expo (Harrisburg, PA.) and Equine Affairs (Columbus, OH.).
